Erik Kertes is a songwriter, producer, mixer, arranger, composer, touring and recording upright and electric bassist, music director, and a multi-instrumentalist who has worked on Grammy winning records and Oscar winning films.

Between running a recording studio- Bird Sound LA, performing all over the world with acts like Shakira, Melissa Etheridge and Michael Buble (and many more), composing for TV and film, and writing songs for major label artists (which have reached the Billboard top 10), Erik still finds time to release his own music under his moniker, Nitwit.
